3D CAD Design
Mechanical CAD modeling for individual parts, assemblies and full product structures.
Overview
A CAD model is only useful if it can be changed. We build parametric models with feature trees organized around manufacturing and assembly logic, not just whatever gets a shape on screen — because the third design revision is where sloppy modeling becomes expensive.
Work spans single components, multi-part assemblies, sheet metal, enclosures, brackets and structural frames, and mechanism design where parts need to move, mate and clear each other correctly.
Every model is checked against the intended manufacturing process during modeling, not after, so wall thickness, draft, fillets and tolerances are considered from the first feature rather than patched in later.
Who this is for
- Teams that need a concept sketch or physical reference turned into accurate 3D CAD
- Companies needing an assembly modeled with correct mates and clearances
- Anyone needing existing 2D drawings converted into 3D parametric models
Process
Reference gathering
Sketches, photos, rough dimensions or an existing part to measure.
Base geometry
Core part geometry modeled with manufacturing-aware features.
Assembly & fit
Mating parts, checking clearances, interferences and tolerance stack-up.
Review cycle
Renders and dimensioned views for your sign-off before finalizing.
FAQ
What CAD software do you use?
We model in industry-standard parametric CAD and export to STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ and GLB depending on what you need downstream — whether that's another CAD package, a manufacturer's quoting tool, or our own web viewer.
Can you model from a physical part with no drawings?
Yes, within limits. For simple geometry we can model from careful measurements and photos. For complex or high-precision geometry, see our Reverse Engineering service, which is built around exactly this problem.
