These terms govern use of gobigcad.com. This is a starting template — have it reviewed by counsel before treating it as binding, particularly the sections on IP ownership and liability, which should match the actual contract terms used in client engagements.
Use of this website
Content on this site is provided for general informational purposes. Submitting the quote form does not create a contractual obligation on either side — it starts a conversation about a potential engagement, which is formalized separately in a written proposal or agreement.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deliverables produced for a client under a paid engagement belong to that client upon full payment. Portfolio case studies are published only with the client's permission.
File uploads
Files you upload through the quote form or during a project are used solely to evaluate and deliver the requested work. Do not upload files you do not have the right to share.
Limitation of liability
Engineering deliverables are provided based on the information and requirements you supply. Final responsibility for manufacturing decisions, tooling investment, and regulatory compliance rests with the client and their manufacturing/regulatory partners. Specific liability terms are set out in each project's written agreement.
